It's that time of year again, 2019 Dirty Kanza is just around the corner!
How do you Kanza? Our Dirty Kanza Volunteers is one of the biggest things that sets our event apart from other events. Time and Time again the riders tell us how much they love our volunteers and the community that comes out to support them by volunteering. We've been hard at work to grow this event and excited for 2019! So you will see the question, how do you Kanza? It might be riding, attending the expo, a vendor at the expo, or volunteering. We all get to be a part of Dirty Kanza, you just have to decide how you Kanza?
Dirty Kanza is the first weekend in June. We have volunteer spots available May 28th - June 2nd and the checkpoints are as follows:
- DK100
- Halfway Checkpoint in Council Grove, Kansas
- DK200
- Checkpoint 1 in Alma, KS
- Checkpoint 2 in Council Grove, KS
We ask that all volunteers be at least 16 years of age and be able to perform all tasks required of the position. No one under the age of 16 should be signing up for a volunteer position, and volunteer shirts will not be available to anyone under age 16.

Positive outgoing volunteers are requested. Most spots require you to be on your feet most of the day, so wear good shoes. You will also want to bring snacks as some spots are during breakfast, lunch or dinner!
