Description

Too stuffed to race? Make a difference and volunteer! Whether you're a dedicated runner or just someone who jogs from the couch to the fridge, the Turkey Day 5K in Minneapolis is fun for everyone! And of course we make every effort to make this event just as amazing of an experience for our volunteers! Come alone or find a friend and register to volunteer at the event! It is the perfect way to start your Thanksgiving morning!

The 2017 CenturyLink Turkey Day 5K Presented by Life Time has joined forces with Second Harvest Heartland, one of the nations largest food banks. Last year Turkey Day 5k participants donated thousands of dollars and pounds of food to SHH. This year we are hoping to collect 20,000 pounds!  You can also donate a $1 which can help provide 3 meals. Life Time will be matching up to $20,000. More info and the link to donate will be added soon. Join us in supporting our community this Thanksgiving!

PerksThe least we can do for each volunteer is to give back a little something for you! All volunteers receive:
A commemorative volunteer T-shirt celebrating this year’s event
Complimentary food and beverages
Complete community service hours
The opportunity to meet a new friend or business contact
Potential to create new interests or hobbies
Fulfillment of helping another individual accomplish their goal or dream
And, of course, the good feeling one gets when helping a worthy cause
Thank you in advance for supporting our community by being part of our volunteer crew! If you have any questions about volunteering, please email Yasamin Sabeti at ysabeti@lifetimefitness.com.
