About

Each of our races take place thanks to talented and dedicated volunteers helping with every aspect of the race! Be a part of the fun as you assist participants pre-race by welcoming them and guiding athletes to the start areas, cheering them on along the course, and celebrating their accomplishments at the finish line and during the post-race festivities. 
Volunteer positions include some of the following:

Pre-Race

  • Course Marking

During the Race

  • Traffic/Parking Control

Requirement Details
Sign up officially to volunteer on givepulse.com through leadvilleraceseries.com. Once you are signed up through the Givepulse website, this is the official confirmation. Adult needs to be present with children volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact closer to the event date to validate specific questions regarding your volunteering experience.
Perks
All volunteers will receive the following:
- All volunteers will receive a free race crew shirt
- All volunteers will receive complimentary snacks and/or a light meal and water
- All volunteers can also fulfill volunteer time for school or community programs, meet a new friend or business contact, increase social and relationship skills, increase self-confidence, increase communication skills, increase managerial skills, sense of achievement, create new interests or hobbies, experience something new, meet a diverse range of people, career experience directly related to the following areas: medical, event management, sports management, sports marketing, communication, and outdoor recreation.
Parking Details
Parking is available within the Lake County Community Park & Fairgrounds area for the Start/Finish of the race.
Parking, if needed, is available on all side streets, but please be respectful of private property/parking.
